The PBR has announced that Tim McGraw and Jon Pardi will headline its Last Cowboy Standing event at Canvas Stadium on the campus of Colorado State University on July 21 and 22.

“Partnering with CSU to bring Last Cowboy Standing and two phenomenal concerts to Fort Collins is paving the way for ‘Best of the West’ to become a great summer tradition in Western lifestyle and sports,” PBR CEO Sean Gleason said in a release. “Treating fans to a live performance by blockbuster stars Tim McGraw and Jon Pardi will turn an already extraordinary two days of bull riding into unforgettable four-hour parties.”

The event will feature $200,000 purse and a ride-to-survive format starting with 35 of the best bull riders in the PBR. The Top 20 will advance to Round 2, Top 8 to Round 3 and the Top 4 to Round 4. The fifth and final round will feature any cowboy who makes a qualified ride in Round 4 in a winner-take-all Shootout.

Round 1 will be held July 21 and followed by Tim McGraw, while the next four rounds will be on July 22 with Jon Pardi closing things down.

Student experience, campus engagement, and community partnership are important and will be on full display in July. It’s going to a be a lot of fun!”

Tickets go on sale April 16.
