Another Pendleton Round-Up is in the books, and it did not disappoint, with electrifying performances across the board, including three new arena records.

The NFR race is reaching its boiling point, and athletes picked up crucial slices of Pendleton’s $508,000 in prize money, including many on the NFR bubble.

Just over a week remains before the 2026 season ends and the NFR’s qualifiers are set in stone.c

Here’s what you missed from Oregon’s Biggest Rodeo:

Both Bradlee Miller and Garrett Shadbolt set arena records in the Final Round of Pendleton’s Bareback event.

Miller set the arena record first, with a 90.5 on Sankey Pro Rodeo & Phenom Genetics Lewandowski’s SH, but Shadbolt topped it with a 92 on Macza Pro Rodeo’s Ols Tubs Stevie Nicks to win the round. It was Shadbolt’s first 90+ score of his season.

Shadbolt won the Average with 179 total points, beating out Miller, who finished 2nd, by 2.5 points.

Shadbolt, who entered the top 15 last week, earned $15,264 at Pendleton, bringing his September total to $32,974. He’s now in 12th with $139,625.

Logan Kenline was 18.2 seconds to win the Steer Wrestling Average and earned $12,336, bringing his season total to $51,821. Kenline placed in all three rounds, peaking with a 2nd-place finish in the Short Round.

Gavin Soileau had a big weekend and earned the most of any BullDogger despite coming 2nd in the average. He finished with 18.9 seconds on three, but was an event-fastest 3.3 to win Round One. Soileau added $13,321 to his season total and jumped three spots in the standings into 11th.

Clay Smith added $12,499 and shot from 21st to 13th. Clay Smith and partner Coleby Payne were 5.8 to win the Short Round and won the Average with 18.9 seconds. The duo added $12,499 each. Smith shot from 21st to 13th, and Payne jumped into 5th place.

Derrick Begay and Colter Todd came 2nd in the Team Roping Average, but left with $17,371 each, enough to get Begay from outside the top-20 to 9th, and Todd to 16th, just over $5,000 from entering the top-15.

Three different riders combined to score four 90+ rides in the Saddle Bronc event.

Coleman Shallbetter was 90 in both rounds and earned $15,144 but finished 2nd in the Average. He earned $15,144, but is still over $20,000 from the top-15.

Stetson Wright won the Average with 182 points on two and set a new arena record in the process, scoring 92.5 on The Black Tie to win the Short Round. Wright added $15,894 to his season purse and is now less than $4,000 from Ryder Wright in 2nd place.

Statler Wright was 90.5 in the Short Round and finished 3rd in the Average.

Shad Mayfield won the Tie-DownAverage with 30.0 seconds on three and was a full two seconds faster than 2nd place.

Mayfield also won the Short Round, with an 8.4-second out.

He entered Pendleton in 14th and is now 13th. Mayfield earned $12,273, bringing his season total to $129,122.

Katelyn Scott was 58.03 seconds on two to win the average and earned $11,947 overall. She didn’t win any rounds in Pendleton, instead finishing 3rd in Round One and 2nd in the Short Round. Scott edged out 2nd-place Megan McLeod-Sprague by .02 seconds in the Average.

Taylor Santos won two rounds on his way to also winning the average. He won the Second and Short Rounds, and won the average with 37.5 seconds on three. Santos earned $15,091 and is the new World Steer Roping Leader with $101,100.

Jake Clay won the First Round with the fastest out of the event at 10.9 seconds.

Grady Young won the Bull Riding Average with 174.5 on two. He was 89 on Wayne Vold Rodeo’s All Gold to win the Short Round. Young left Pendleton $12,391 richer, but he’s still more than $34,000 behind the cut line.

John Crimber was an event-best 90 on Four Star Rodeo’s Dynamite to win Round One, but bucked off his second bull and finished 4th in the average. Crimber earned $11,232 and is now in 7th place.

Haven Meged won the All-Around Cowboy with $16,580 earned in Tie-Down and Team Roping.
