The final bracket in Fort Worth wrapped up with the conclusion of Bracket 7 on Tuesday night. The Semifinals and Wild Card are officially set.

In bareback riding, Clayton Biglow won $4,400 for taking second in Round 1 with 86.5 points and first in Round 2 with 89. After finishing 31st each of the last two seasons, the 2019 World Champion is looking to return to the NFR for the first time since 2023. Kooper Heimburg won Round 1 to help him get the second Semifinal spot while Gauge McBride is the Wild Card.

In steer wrestling, Ty Bauerle and Levi Rudd, the two Go-Round winners are the ones going to the Semifinals. Bauerle was 3.9 to win Round 1 while Rudd was 3.6 to win Round 2. They both made $4,000 while Logan Kenline advanced to the Wild Card with $2,900.

Team roping in Bracket 7 featured only one time faster than six seconds and it came from Mason Appleton/Sid Sporer, who won Round 1 with a 4.6 and ended up getting the second Semifinal spot. With $3,400, the top spot went to new pair Coleman Proctor/Travis Graves.

Damian Brennan topped the bronc riding in Fort Worth’s final bracket with a pair of 88-point rides to collect $4,400, while Ira Dickinson was the other Semifinalist with nearly all of his money coming from a 90-point ride to win Round 2. Weston Patterson is the Wild Card after rides of 85.5 and 86.5 points.

We saw the two fastest runs of the entire rodeo in Bracket 7’s tie-down roping with Riley Webb winning Round 1 with a 7.6 and Jake Pratt winning Round 2 with a 7.7. In a tight bracket, Pratt came out on top with $4,400 and Webb was right behind him with $4,200. Marty Yates made $1,825 to get the Wild Card.

Reigning World Champion Kassie Mowry dominated the barrel racing with runs of 16.16 seconds and 16.19 seconds, making her the fifth barrel racer to sweep over seven brackets. None of them, however, made two runs faster than 16.20 seconds like Mowry did.

Bull riding also saw a sweep with Creek Young riding for 87 and 89 points to win both rounds. Mason Moody was second in each while Jax Mills, who was third in Round 2, got the Wild Card.

It was ties galore in Bracket 7’s breakaway roping. Josie Conner, Suzanne Williams, and Joey Williams were all 2.3 in Round 1 and Jaci Hammons and Amanda Terrell split Round 2. Suzanne Williams ultimately won the Bracket with $3,467 and Conner was second with $2,967. Hammons and Terrell both got Wild Card spots.
