Bull riding in Alaska, bronc riding in South Dakota, and rodeos from Oklahoma to Ohio, just another week in the PRCA.

Today’s Headliners and Hidden Gems is loaded with 90s…

Headliner – Tristan Mize: Mize moved up four spots to No. 10 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings by winning both rounds at the Take the Oath Xtreme Bulls on Monday. He was 88.5 points on Karaoke Nights to kick things off, splitting the Long Round with Roscoe Jarboe. Mize followed it up with 91 on Honeycutt’s Big Red which not only won him the rodeo, but was also the highest marked ride of his career.

Hidden Gem – Dalton Rudman: Mize wasn’t the only bull rider to go 90 over the weekend as the 30-year-old Rudman did so as well to win the Colorado Stampede. After over 400 outs on various PBR Tours, Rudman is a rookie in the PRCA this season and his winning ride was the best of his ProRodeo career so far.

Headliner – Logan Hay: The two-time NFR bronc rider made his first 90+ Point Ride of the 2025 season by going for 91 on Muddy Creek’s Bugsy in the Finals of Back When They Bucked in Deadwood. It was his first win of the 2025 season and it put him to No. 23 in the PRCA World Standings after a $4,500 payday.

Hidden Gem – Spur Montag: The 18-year-old from Ohio lead the saddle bronc riding at the Will Rogers Stampede after the first performance and his 85.5-point ride ultimately had him in second place when the rodeo concluded. He did, however, win the Silver Creek Shootout in his home state with 83.5 points. It is the first time in his career he has scored in the 80s twice in the same weekend.

Headliner – Nick Pelke: The No. 5 bareback rider in the World got his first win since Fort Worth in February with 89.5 points aboard Frontier Rodeo’s Gun Fire. It is the first time Pelke matched up with the legendary horse. Earlier this month, Gun Fire helped Garrett Shadbolt to second place finish in Guymon.

Hidden Gem – Qynn Andersen: The Aussie has been flying up the World Standings of late and jumped 11 more spots to No. 20 after winning the Northernmost Xtreme Bulls in Fairbanks, which paid over $8,000. He has covered six of his last seven bulls and made about $26,000 total since April 25.

Headliner – Scott Wells: We won’t have to go far to find our next headliner as Wells won the other Northernmost Xtreme Bulls held in Alaska, this one in Palmer. Wells also took fourth in Fairbanks to bring in just over $8,000 himself for the weekend and is No. 8 in the World Standings.

Headliner – Allen Boore: The Utah bronc rider was the highest earner at Back When They Bucked by winning the Long Round with 87.5 points and finishing fourth in the Short Round with 88.5. They were his two highest marked rides of the season.

Hidden Gem – Grant Turek: The Chadron State tie-down roper primarily sticks to college rodeo, but when he competes with the pros, he usually leaves with check. Since March 1, he has entered seven ProRodeos and earned at least $1,000 at four of them. Over the weekend was his biggest one yet, $2,820 for second place at the Ag Expo Pro Rodeo in North Dakota.
