Jose Vitor Leme Wins PBR World Finals – Eliminations With Perfect Performance
Two-time World Champion Jose Vitor Leme was a perfect 4-for-4 at PBR World Finals – Eliminations and finished the job with a 91.25-point ride on Pegasus, which was enough to edge out Clay Guiton by two points with 353 on aggregate.
The win in the first leg of the World Finals earned Leme 353 UTB Points, shooting him from No. 18 to No. 6 in the World entering Championship Round Weekend. Leme now has 760 Points after entering the World Finals with 407.
“I trust in God’s plans, he’s been guiding me a lot, putting the right bulls on my way,” Leme said. “I just want to do my part.”
Clay Guiton Also Goes 4-for-4
The 19-year-old rode Eyes on Me for 91.25 points to take the lead in the Aggregate after Round 2 and said afterward he felt like he could ride anything. That held true as he was perfect during World Finals – Eliminations, ultimately finishing two points behind Leme with 351 points on four.
The 288 UTB Points Guiton earned boosted him from No. 11 to No. 4 in the PBR World Standings after the first weekend of the World Finals.
Guiton entered Eliminations red-hot having ridden 13-of-18 in April and May. With this past weekend included, he is 17 for his last 22 (77.2%).
After no one rode all four in 2024, Leme and Guiton are the first cowboys ever to 4-for-4 at PBR World Finals – Eliminations.
Dalton Kasel Rides Last Two to Remain No. 1 in World Standings
Kasel got off to a slow start bucking off both of his first two bulls in less than 6.5 seconds, but turned things around with some clutch riding to close out World Finals – Eliminations.
He was 88.75 points for third in Round 3 and then exploded for 91 points for another third place finish in Round 4 to go from 0-for-2 to No. 6 overall in Eliminations.
He collected 125 UTB Points in total and extended his lead over World No. 2 Brady Fielder from 126 Points to 238.
