The PBR UTB tour’s first-ever appearance in Bridgeport did not disappoint.

Andrew Alvidrez picked up his first win of the season with a perfect weekend, covering all three of his bulls. He started the season just 2-for-10 and, before this past weekend, was 2-for-his-last-11.

Alvidrez was in second place heading into the Short Round, where he drafted Good Riddance. He was 88.25 aboard one of the best bovines in the PBR for his best ride of the year. It’s Alvidrez’s first win of the season, his fourth overall, and his first on Tour in over a year.

He finished with 258.95 Aggregate Points and earned 119 Event Points. He now sits 14th in the World Standing.

Around The Top 10

Leandro Zampollo continues to prove he can ride any bull he gets on, finishing second in Bridgeport.

Zampollo has covered seven of his last eight bulls, with four of those rides marked 87.5 points or more.

He was 90.35 on Bex Red Eye in the Short Round for his second UTB 90+ point ride and a round win. Earlier this season in New York City, Zampollo rode that bull for a career-high 90.85. He joins Dalton Kasel, Clay Guiton, and Sage Kimzey as the only riders on tour with multiple 90-point rides this year.

He has now covered four of his five Short Round bulls, no one else on Tour has better numbers.

Zampollo has yet to win on Tour, but he keeps inching closer. It’s his fourth Top 5 finish, his third Top 3, and his second second-place finish this season. He has four three-bull weekends on tour this year. Zampollo earned 95 Event Points, moving him up to fifth overall in the World Standings.

Sage Kimzey took the weekend off to focus on rest and recovery. He still sits as the No. 1 rider in the World Standings with 500 UTB Points.

John Crimber remains second in the World Standings with 484 Points. His Round 2 score of 84.2 on Kodiac wasn’t enough to advance. Since riding seven in a row, Crimber has covered three of his last eight bulls.

Ninth-ranked Brady Fielder notched his seventh single-bull weekend in Bridgeport after his Round 2 score of 87.05 on Pneu-Dart’s Black Scorpion wasn’t enough to earn another shot in the Short Round.

Marco Rizzo hasn’t been able to find the magic since his first and only UTB win earlier this year in Chicago. Bridgeport marked the fourth weekend this season he’s gone without covering a bull. Rizzo is in the middle of his worst stretch of the season, having covered just one of his last 10 bulls.

Kaiden Loud returned to the Top 10 in 10th after covering two of his three bulls. He finished third in the event, his first Top 3 finish since the season opener in Manchester.

Loud rode Black Eyes for 88.5 points in Round 2, earning a spot in the Short Round, where he chose and rode Eyes On Me for 87.95 points.

Loud has now covered three of his last five bulls and may have found the consistency he’s been searching for. He sits with 309 UTB Points, just one point behind Brady Fielder and one point ahead of Cassio Dias.

Team Challenge

The Missouri Thunder once again found a way to win with only a single qualified ride. They defeated the Texas Rattlers, who picked up their third loss of the season. The Thunder’s Paulo Eduardo Rossetto rode Fury for 87.3 points for his only qualified ride of the weekend.

The Thunder now sit atop the Team Challenge Standings with a perfect 4-0 record despite the team covering just 4-of-16 bulls.

The Oklahoma Wildcatters picked up their first win of the season in a dominating 252.1–82.6 victory over the New York Mavericks. The Wildcatters entered the matchup in last place and had covered only two bulls in their three Team Challenge games before Friday night’s performance.

Cort McFadden rode Black Eyes for 88 points and a Round 1 win.Trace Redd had his best weekend on Tour in his first UTB event of 2026. He was 81.15 on Lug Nut to help the Wildcatters, then followed it up with an 88.6 round-winning ride in the Second Round. Redd finished fifth overall in Bridgeport. Meanwhile, JaCauy Hale was 82.95 on Project X for his first UTB ride of the season, sealing the Wildcatters’ win.

The New York Mavericks struggled in their Friday matchup despite activating a roster that featured four Top 20 riders. Leandro Zampollo was the only Maverick to score, going 82.6 on Red Velvet.

Bob Mitchell, Julio Cesar Marques, and Marco Rizzo each failed to reach eight seconds and New York fell to sixth in the Team Challenge standings.
