PBR Freedom Days Recap: Ridge Riders Go 7-1, Brady Fielder Returns, and Day 1 Delivers Close Games
The Freedom Days event in Sunrise, Florida, delivered some of the most intense PBR Teams action of the season. The Arizona Ridge Riders stole the show, extending their winning streak to seven after dropping their opener, now sitting at a league-best 7-1. Led by Everton Da Silva’s clutch leadoff rides and Luciano De Castro’s consistency, they’re the only team with two riders covering six or more bulls this season.
Hot on their heels, the Texas Rattlers (6-2) kept pace with the league’s highest riding percentage, thanks to the return of Brady Fielder, who went 2-for-2 in his first weekend back from injury. Meanwhile, Daniel Keeping’s undefeated streak since moving up the lineup proved key in their two weekend wins.
The weekend also highlighted the razor-thin margins in PBR, several matchups were decided by two points or less on Day 1, including the Rattlers edging the Carolina Cowboys and the Ridger Riders narrowly topping the Freedom.
With MVP leader Thiago Salgado of the Florida Freedom under pressure from Clay Guiton and De Castro, and three straight weeks of competition ahead in Nashville, Austin, and Springfield, the race for playoff positioning and individual glory is heating up fast.
