The PBR Team Series season has hit the halfway mark with three teams still tied atop the standings after Thunder Days last weekend.

The Stampede, Cowboys, and Thunder left Missouri with 11-6 records overall, and the Stampede remain in 1st place by less than a point.

The Rattlers and Wildcatters each finished the weekend undefeated, however, and made big jumps in the League standings.

Here’s what you need to know about what happened at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena last weekend:

Texas Rattlers:

The Texas Rattlers had their best event of the season, winning all three games and scoring a team-season-high 707.9 points in eight rides.

Texas’ Brady Fielder got off to a slow start, bucking off his first bull in Game 1 against the New York Mavericks. However, the final four Rattlers scored a combined 351.2 points, Texas’ second-highest Game score of the season.

Texas went on to score two in each of their next two games, and won both by a combined 93.65 points. In Game 2, Fielder was a season-high 91.65 on Dirty Bomb.

Fielder finished the event riding 2-for-3, as did teammates Daniel Keeping and João Ricardo Vieira.

Keeping had ridden five in a row before bucking off his bull in Game 3, and Fielder has covered six of his last nine. That elite consistency has propelled both into the top five in the MVP race, with Fielder in 3rd and Keeping in 5th.

Lucas Divino scored in his first ride in a Rattler uniform after he was traded from the Gamblers last week, and Dawson Branton scored his second ride of the season, his first since Game 1 in Colorado.

The Rattlers were firing on all cylinders in Missouri and improved to 10-7 overall in 4th place. Texas has the 2nd-best average ridescore in the league at 88.77 and is just a game behind the Cowboys, Thunder, and Stampede, who are all tied at 11-6.

Oklahoma Wildcatters:

The Oklahoma Wildcatters had their best finish of the season, winning all three games and jumping from 9th to 7th place. Oklahoma had yet to finish an event positive and had previously finished each event this year with just a single win.

The Wildcatters covered 5-of-15 and won their three games by a combined 4.2 points.

They needed every ride they got, and Kaiden Loud delivered two. Loud bucked off his first bull, but followed that miss with 89.2 poin

ts on Irish Car Bomb and 88.75 on El Chapo.

Kase Hitt, Marcelo Procopio Pereira, and Eduardo Matos each picked up a crucial score for the Wildcatters, with Pereira scoring his first ride of the season.

Despite the narrow victories, the Wildcatters managed to put together the perfect weekend and gave themselves a massive boost in the standings, now 8-9 and in 7th place.

Missouri Thunder:

The Missouri Thunder had a successful homestand and extended their win streak to nine in a row, but couldn’t get their 10th after a narrow Game 3 loss.

Paulo Eduardo Rossetto entered the weekend on a seven-bull ridestreak and extended it to 10 in a row, a career record, riding all three of his bulls in front of the home crowd.

He was 90.5 on Scrappy in Game 2 for his best ride of the weekend, and his third 90+ score of the season. Rossetto remains a bull behind Jose Vitor Leme in the MVP race, in 2nd place.

Julio Cesar Marques covered 2-of-3 for the third straight weekend and entered the top 10 for the MVP rankings for the first time this season, in 9th place.

Maverick Smith, Macaulie Leather, and Felipe Furlan each had a ride of their own at Thunder Days, bringing the team’s ride total to 8-of-15 for the event. It’s the third time this season, and the second straight event, that the Thunder scored at least eight rides.

The Thunder finished their weekend 2-1 and remain deadlocked in a three-way tie with the Stampede and Cowboys at 11-6 each. The Thunder did, however, match Nashville’s total rides, at 40, and are just .55 aggregate points behind taking first place.

Austin Gamblers:

The Austin Gamblers scored 8-of-15 to finish the event a positive 2-1 for the first time since Florida.

Jose Vitor Leme was 3-for-3 for the fourth straight event and extended his ride streak to 12, smashing the Team Series record of 10 in a row. He’s now approaching his career record of 14 in a row, while maintaining a ride lead over Paulo Edaurdo Rossetto, who’s on a 10-ride streak of his own and hot on Leme’s trail.

Dener Barbosa rode 2-of-3, and Vinicius Pinheiro Correa was 2-for-2, earning his first and second rides of the season.

Sage Kimzey scored the last of the Gamblers’ eight rides and has covered 6-of-13 on the season as the Gamblers’ second-highest-ranked rider, in 25th.

Both of the Gamblers’ wins came over two of the top-three ranked teams, including the Missouri Thunder, spoiling their homestand sweep in a narrow 261.5 – 256.6 Game 3 win.

After a few weeks in a slog, the Gamblers are in 6th place at 8-9 and one step closer to being above .500 for the first time this season.

Carolina Cowboys:

The Carolina Cowboys finished their fifth straight event with a 2-1 record and scored seven for the second time this season.

It was a group effort with five different riders scoring.

Jess Lockwood rode 2-of-3, scoring his second and third rides of the season.

Guilherme Valleiras covered 2-of-2 and improved to 14th in the MVP race as the top-ranked Cowboy. He’s ridden 8-of-12 this season and has ridden his last three in a row.

Thiago Salgado fell behind Valleiras after a 1-for-3 showing. Adriano Salgado was also 1-for-3 for his worst event finish of the season.

Keyshawn Whitehorse was 89.7 points on Hoobastank in Game 2 and finished 1-for-2. He’s now ridden four of his last seven after a shaky start to the season.

In a weekend where the Salgado brothers fell behind, their teammates were there to pick them up. Although they weren’t able to finish the weekend in 1st place overall, they are in a three-way tie with the Stampede and Thunder at 11-6.

Nashville Stampede:

The Nashville Stampede finished their second straight event with a 1-2 record and no longer hold a game lead or a ride lead over the rest of the league. Regardless, Nashville has a lot to celebrate.

They still have the most rides (40) and points (3537.8), and three of their riders are currently within the top seven in the MVP race: Riquelmi Silva, Alan de Souza, and Rogério Venâncio.

Silva was 3rd, but fell to fourth after a 1-for-3 weekend.

De Souza went 2-for-3 and improved to 6th place, while Venâncio went 1-for-3 and is in 7th place.

Daniel Feitosa is ranked 14th in the MVP race and covered 1-of-3.

Gustavo Luiz da Silva rode 2-of-2 in Missouri and doubled his season ride total.

While three of Nashville’s top four riders underperformed, the team scored at least two rides in each game, totaling seven overall.

Nashville’s lead over the league has reached its thinnest margin yet, but until they can be dethroned, they remain the most dangerous team this season.

New York Mavericks:

The New York Mavericks had another disappointing 1-2 weekend, losing their first two and winning their third against a spiraling Florida Freedom team.

Mauricio Gulla Moreira and Marco Rizzo added just a single ride each to their MVP campaigns and remain side-by-side in the standings at 12th and 13th, respectively.

João Henrique Lucas was a perfect 2-for-2 and doubled his season ride total. Leonardo Castro was 86.5 on Irish Car Bomb to give the Mavericks the lead and victory over the Freedom in Game 3, but Afonso Quintino was 88.65 on Sierra Storm in Game 2 for the best score on the team for the event.

Leandro Zampollo bucked off all three of his bulls and is now just 3-for-16 on the season. With the additional news that Hudson Bolton will miss time after undergoing jaw surgery, it’s difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel for this Maverick squad that has consistently struggled this season.

Halfway through the season, the Mavericks are 4-13, yet to reach even half of their 2025 win total of nine.

Arizona Ridge Riders:

The Arizona Rider Riders suffered their second straight losing weekend and have fallen from 2nd place two events ago to now 5th, with a 9-8 record.

They scored just 4-of-15, which was the fewest rides they’ve scored all year, and their lone win came from Everton Natan da Silva’s 86.75 points against an Outlaw team that couldn’t score once.

It was da Silva’s second ride of the event, with Luciano De Castro making up the other two. De Castro missed Gambler Days recovering from a mild injury, but made an immediate impact in his return, as did da Silva, when no other Ridge Riders could.

For the first time this season, no Ridge Riders are currently in the MVP race top 10, with Elizmar Jeremias falling to 11th and Eduardo Aparecido falling to 16th.

While it was a step in the wrong direction, Arizona remains just two wins behind 1st place, and each of their top four riders has ridden more than 50% of their bulls this season.

Kansas City Outlaws:

The Kansas City Outlaws had their worst event finish of the season, losing all three of their games.

The Outlaws were without Hayden Welsh this weekend, and they felt it.

They scored a season-low 3-of-15 rides, with Koltin Hevlow, Cassio Dias, and Heitor Santos Ferreira each scoring once. Dias was a team-high 90.2 on American Made in Game 2 for his second 90+ ride of the season.

Santos Ferreira scored his second ride of the season and has now covered 2-of-12.

Sandro Batista finished 0-for-3 for the first time this season and has bucked off his last four in a row. He fell outside of the top five, to 9th, in the MVP race.

The Outlaws have won just three of their last nine games and have plummeted down to 9th in the standings at 6-11.

Florida Freedom:

The Florida Freedom finished 0-3 for the second time this season and scored one ride fewer than they did the first time, just 3-of-15.

They were once again without 2x League MVP John Crimber and will be without him until at least October.

Alex Cerqueira, João Lucas Campos, and Austin Richardson each scored one ride, with Richardson’s 89.25 on Max Bet in Game 3 being the best score of the event for the team.

The Freedom went scoreless in Game 2 against the Cowboys, and overall, they have scored just 27-of-85 rides this season, second-fewest in the league. They do, however, have the best average ridescore in the League at 88.95 points per ride.

The Freedom are now 7-10 in 8th place and, for the first time this season, are closer to last place than 1st place.
