RodeoHouston Super Series 2 Recap: Driggers/Nogueira Stay Hot, Trevor Reiste Goes 3-for-3 and More

Super Series 2 in Houston saw Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira carry their San Antonio dominance to NRG Stadium, while two young 2025 Super Series winners did it all over again.
Waylon Bourgeois tallied $5,000 to win Super Series 2 in the bareback riding, with his good friend, the reigning World Champion Rocker Steiner, just $250 back of him.
Bourgeois tied for the Round 1 win and won Round 3 outright, while Steiner cashed in all three rounds, taking second in the last two.
Both of those cowboys have plenty of recent success in Houston. Bourgeois won his Super Series in 2025 with $8,500 and Steiner went on to win the entire rodeo.
Taylor Broussard ($3,750) and Ben Kramer ($3,250) also advanced.
The steer wrestling was tight in the second Super Series, with Grant Peterson, the winner of Round 2, taking the top spot with $4,125. Cash Robb, who won Round 1 with a 4.4, was right behind him with $3,875, and Chase Crane was close behind as well with $3,750. Crane won Round 3 with the fastest run of the Super Series, a 4.1.
With a third-place finish in Round 2 and a second-place finish in Round 3, Seth Peterson was the final Semifinal qualifier.
Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira took second in San Antonio largely thanks to the way they dominated their bracket. They did the same thing in Super Series 2 in Houston.
The two-time World Champion pair recorded a clean sweep, getting one-tenth faster each round to win $9,000. Their times were 5.0, 4.9, and 4.8. The next closest pair was Kolton Schmidt/Chase Tryan with $2,750, followed by Chad Masters/Jace Helton and Clay Smith/Nicky Northcott.
Eastan West is the winningest saddle bronc rider through two Super Series,as the 21-year-old Permit Finals Champion finished second in each of the first two rounds before winning Round 3 with an 87-point ride. He was 83.5 points on each of his first two horses.
Riggin Smith won the first two rounds to win $6,000 and advance in second, while Stetson Wright and Shorty Garrett tied for third with $3,250 apiece.
In tie-down roping, Bo Pickett won his Super Series in Houston for the second straight year, this time with $4,000, tying with Macon Murphy.
Pickett and Murphy split Round 2, while Pickett added small checks for third in Round 1 and fifth in Round 2. Murphy, on the other hand, was fourth in both rounds he did not win.
A pair of 2025 NFR qualifiers, reigning World Champion Riley Webb and Joel Harris grabbed the final two Semifinal spots with $3,500 and $3,250.
In barrel racing, Sydney Graham earned $5,500 to win the Super Series. She was fifth in Round 1 and then found an extra gear, finishing first in Round 2 and second in Round 3.
Jordan Driver, who was second in the Super Series, made the fastest run of the rodeo so far with a 14.18 to win Round 1. She advanced second with $4,125. Paige Jones and Loralee Ward also moved on.
Trevor Reiste won the first two rounds and benefitted from ground money in the bull riding, picking up $3,500 in Round 1 and $4,250 in Round 2. He added another $800 to be a perfect 3-for-3 in the Super Series and make $8,550.
T Parker brought in over $5,000, much of it coming from a Round 3 win where he was 85 points on Cervi Championship’s Gladiator.
Hayden Welsh was third with $4,050 thanks to a 2-for-3 showing, and Dylan Rice’s lone qualified ride in Round 2 was enough to get him the fourth Semifinal spot.
In breakaway roping, three cowgirls earned over $4,875 in the Super Series. Summer Williams banked $5,000 for first in Round 1 and second in Round 2, Josie Goodrich got $5,000 for a Round 2 win and second-place finish in Round 1, and Maddy Jacobs won Round 3 and placed in Rounds 1 and 2.
