Super Series III is Houston is complete and more than half of the spots in the Semifinals have been booked.
Bradlee Miller, the 2025 RodeoHouston runner-up, banked $6,000 to win a loaded Super Series III. He won the First Round with an 85.5 and the Second Round with an 88 on Calgary Stampede’s Welcome Delivery.
2023 World Champion Keenan Hayes was just $500 short of Miller, but produced the highest score of the rodeo so far with an 88.5 on Calgary Stampede’s Jolly Rapper to win the Third Round.
Two-time NFR qualifier Jayco Roper earned $4,250, cashing in all three rounds. He was second twice and fourth once. Roper and Miller are the fifth and sixth 2025 NFR participants to advance in this rodeo.
Rounding out the qualifiers was World No. 2 Jacob Lees, a two-time NFR qualifier himself. His second, third, and fourth-place checks earned him $3,000.
Ty Erickson won the First Round Super Series III steer wrestling with a 4.1 and he followed that up with a second and third-place finish in the next two round to leave with $4,875. Erickson finished finished in last year’s Championship Round and fourth in the Shootout.
Bridger Anderson was in the money three times, earning him $3,750 and the qualifying spot behind Erickson. Meanwhile, Holden Myers and Dakota Eldridge won the final two rounds, but Myers cashed in Round 1, putting him $250 ahead of Eldridge’s $3,000.
Eldridge, however, joins the group of Anderson and Erickson as 2025 NFR qualifiers to advance out of Super Series III.
In team roping, Marcus Theriot and partner Chase Graves earned $6,500 each on their way to winning the Super Series, The duo placed second in the first two rounds and won the Third Round with a 5.1-second run.
Bubba Buckaloo and Cole Curry won Round 2, alongside two other checks for $4,740 each. While Coy Rahlmann and Logan Medlin won the First Round and finished with $4,250.
Tee McLeod/Trey Yates were the last qualifying time, a majority of their $3,500 came from a tie with a Theriot/Graves for the Round 3 win.
All four qualifiers in Super Series 3 saddle bronc riding won a round.
The leaders of the pack were Ben Andersen and Jake Finlay who each tallied $4,625 and cashed in all three rounds. The guitar went for Andersen for having the highest-marked ride between the two of them, making it the second straight year the Canadian has won Super Series III.
Rusty Wright tied with Finally for the Round 2 with 86 points to help the World No. 1 advance with $3,375. Off of his first NFR in 2025, Weston Patterson also moved on. His marquee ride was a Round 3 win with 87.5 points on All or Nothin, which is the top score of the rodeo so far.
In tie-down roping, 2025 RodeoHouston Shootout runner-up and World No. 1 Kincade Henry notched two round wins and three checks for $6,875 and the top qualifying spot. He was 7.6 to win the Third Round, which is the fastest out of the rodeo so far.
Tyler Calhoun strung together a second, third, and fourth-place finish for $3,625 to advance behind Henry while Pecos Tatum and Shane Hanchey also cashed three checks. They earned $3,500 and $3,000 respectively.
Emily Beisel made a clean sweep in the Super Series III barrel racing, winning all three rounds for $9,000. She joins Michelle Alley and the duo of Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira as the highest-earning athletes in Houston so far.
McKenna Coronado cashed three checks, two of them second-place finishes, for $5,000. Katie Halbert earned $3,250 and reigning Reserve World Champion Tricia Aldridge snuck into the final spot with $1,750.
Three-time World Champion Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi, who appeared in last year’s Shootout, failed to advance.
Super Series III saw only five qualified rides throughout all three rounds in the bull riding.
Four of those rides came in Round 1, where Cooper James was 85 on Bailey Pro Rodeo’s Cowboy Dreams to win $3,188.
Clayton Sellars was 82.5 for $2,188, and Dustin Boquet was 81 for $1,188. Trey Benton III earned only $938 for his ride that night and was pushed out of advancing by 2025 NFR participant Bryce Jensen.
After having zero qualified rides in the Second Round, Bryce Jensen was the sole rider to cover his bull in the third. He was 85 points on Generations Pro Rodeo’s Warpath, earning $3,000 to match James.
In breakaway roping, all three winners in Super Series III were exactly 2.9 seconds. Haiden Thompson won the First Round and the Super Series with $4,500, Martha Angelone won the Third Round and placed third in the First, earning $4,000. Cadee Williams did not win a round, but instead placed in all three. She earned $3,250, tied with Aspen Miller, who cashed two checks, including a Second Round win.
