After a huge wreck on Yahoo in Houston, it looked like the PBR’s top tour would be without its brightest young star John Crimber for at least a month.

Instead, he will return in Salt Lake City this weekend after just two weeks. The 19-year-old returns after Brady Fiedler ascended to the No. 1 spot that had been Crimber’s much of the season. He will enter this weekend’s action in the Delta Center as the No. 2 cowboy in the PBR World Standings.

“They say a hungry dog runs faster,” he wrote on Instagram on Wednesday with a video of him on a practice bull. “I’m not hungry I’m starving.”

Crimber is 15-for-25 on the season and ranks fourth on the UTB Tour in both riding percentage and total qualified rides.
