The stage is set for the Finals at The American Rodeo. Four in each event, at least $100,000 on the line. There are $1 million qualifiers still alive in every discipline except bull riding.

The Championship Round starts at 5:00 PM ET on Fox.

BAREBACK RIDING

Jess Pope – Jess Pope won the Round of 10 with 87.50 points and while he has never won The American, he is no stranger to winning inside Globe Life Field. In his NFR debut in 2020, he won the Average there.

Rocker Steiner – The RodeoHouston Champion is looking to win another one of rodeo’s crown jewels and he rode for 86.25 and to get to the Shootout. Steiner is currently No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings.

Waylon Bourgeois – The Louisiana native is the only finalist this year that does not have NFR experience. He made it through in third with 85.75 in the Round of 10, which is the same position he finished in during the Contender Finals on Friday night. He is $1 million eligible.

Dean Thompson – The reigning World Champion grabbed the final spot in the Four-Man with 85.5 points, leaving Kaycee Feild and his 85.25 as the first man out.

STEER WRESTLING

Will Lummus – The big man from Mississippi took care of business with a 3.5-second run to win the 10-Man. This is his fourth appearance in the Four-Man in the last five years, but he has never left Arlington the Champion.

Dakota Eldridge – The 11-time NFR qualifier was not far behind Lummus with a 3.7-second run on Saturday afternoon.

Jesse Brown – The lone contender to advance to the steer wrestling Four-Man, Brown was 4.01 seconds to do so. Don’t let the contender tag fool you, he was No. 6 a year ago and has not finished worse than sixth in the World since 2020.

JD Struxness – The reigning World Champion and American Champion was 4.16 to get the last spot. He was 4.19 in the 10-Man in 2024.

TEAM ROPING

Chad Masters/Cory Petska – The veteran team made their 4 flat run look easy on Saturday afternoon and have a chance at $1 million.

Clint Summers/Jake Long – A pair that has been piling up money at the NFR the last few years, is looking to add $100,000 to their bank accounts.

Tyler Wade/Wesley Thorp – The reigning World Champions were the last out and made a businessman 6.40-second run to move on. They have never made the Four-Man as partners, but Thorp was there in 2022 with Cody Snow.

Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira – They made it through despite a penalty, and they are not a team you want to give life to. Driggers/Nogueira have won The American twice as partners and Driggers has won it three times.

SADDLE BRONC RIDING

Damian Brennan – Brennan lead the way in a saddle bronc riding round that had seven cowboys marked 85.25 or better. He was 88.5.

Sage Newman – Newman, the reigning American Champion, was 88 to punch his ticket to the Four-Man. He was 87 in the 10-Man and 89.5 in the Four-Man a year ago. Newman finished No. 11 in the World as the lone $1 million contender in the bronc riding.

Zeke Thurston – The four-time World Champion is looking for his first American title after an 86.75.

Wyatt Casper – Casper, the 2020 American Champion, tied with Thurston at 86.75.

BREAKAWAY ROPING

Josie Conner – Immediately after her 1.99-second run, Conner said she is looking for redemption for coming up short in last year’s Championship Round.

Martha Angelone – Angelone is looking to make it a sisterly sweep after Sarah won The American in 2024.

Kaydence Tindall – The lone contender in the breakaway was 2.2 seconds on Friday night and Saturday afternoon

Shelby Boisjoli-Meged – Boisjoli-Meged has three straight Top 5 finishes for a reason and she was a 2.28 to get through.

TIE-DOWN ROPING

Shane Hanchey – The veteran of 15 straight NFRs set the pace at 7.58 seconds, which no one bested.

Kincade Henry – Henry, who is $1 million eligible, did however tie that 7.58. He was 7.32 to win the Contender Finals on Friday night.

Riley Webb – The last cowboy out, the two-time reigning World Champion made a businessman run to tie one in 8.02 and move on.

Haven Meged – Meged made it a family affair in the Finals, joining his wife Shelby and also advancing in the fourth.

BARREL RACING

Dusky Hall – The 11-year-old has a chance at $1 million after setting arena record with a 15.133 on her first run Saturday. She advanced in the fifth and final spot from the Contender Finals on Friday night.

Taycie Matthews – The Arkansas native was 15.14 Saturday afternoon and now has a chance for what would undoubtedly be the biggest win of her career.

Hailey Kinsel – Running Sister at The American for the first time in four years, the four-time World Champion made a 15.184-second run to advance.

Kassie Mowry – Over the last three years, no one has a higher winning percentage than the reigning World Champion. With the door open and $100,000 on the line, her and Jarvis always have a shot.

BULL RIDING

TJ Gray – The better of the two scores that made the whistle, Gray rode for 85.5 on Saturday afternoon.

Tristen Hutchings – Hutchings has been red-hot lately and now has a chance at a career-defining win after 83.75 points.
