The second leg of the PBR World Finals, the two-day, four-round Ride For Redemption starts May 14 in Cowtown Coliseum with a a crop of 22 invited bull riders vying for a spot among those who did not automatically qualify for the World Finals – Championship Rounds from last weekend’s Eliminations.

Here’s how it works.

On Wednesday night, 22 invited bull riders from the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour, Touring Pro Division, PBR Stockyards Showcase, PBR Camping World Team Series will get on two bulls.

Of those 22, only three of them (Marcus Mast, Bob Mitchell, and Ashton Sahli) come from Eliminations, the other 19 are new to this year’s competition.

The Top 5 on two will move onto Thursday, where the remaining World Finals competitors who did not advance to AT&T Stadium out of Eliminations await them.

With a clean slate Thursday, the Top 5 from Wednesday night and the remaining World Finals qualifiers will get two attempts and the Top 5 on aggregate  Thursday will lock up the final spots in Jerry World on May 17 and 18.

The Ride for Redemption offers no UTB Points, just a chance to compete in the Championship Rounds. Here is who you should keep an eye on Wednesday.

Braidy Randolph: The 24-year-old Stephenville native only competed in two UTB events this season, but has been a staple in the Ariat Texas Rattlers each of the last three seasons, including the 2023 title winning team. Randolph will enter the Ride For Redemption fresh, having gotten on just eight bulls competitively since Jan. 1.

Bob Mitchell: The 2022 Rookie of the Year is one of the three riders competing Wednesday who rode in Eliminations, where he was 0-for-4. The 22-year-old finished the regular season on a bit of heater, however. Since April 4, he has competed in three Velocity Tour, fishing fourth in Eugene, first in Oakland, and seventh at the Finals as well as two Touring Pro Division events, picking up a win in Idaho Falls and a third place finish in Perry, Georgia.

Marcus Mast: The veteran was unable to seize momentum of his own, going 0-for-4 in Eliminations after winning the season-long Velocity Tour race on May 2. This year marks Mast’s third trip to the PBR World Finals and he finished tied for 19th in his most recent appearance in 2023.

Joao Henrique Lucas: The 35-year-old enters Ride For Redemption after a third place finish at the WCRA Rodeo in Corpus Christi as part of the Challenger Series. Lucas was 1-for-2 in last year’s Ride For Redemption and also made six appearances for the Florida Freedom in 2024, which included a qualified ride in the playoffs.

Caden Bunch: The highest finisher in the  2024 UTB Standings is the 22-year-old Bunch at No. 14, but did not have much luck in ’25. A centerpiece of the Nashville Stampede in 2024 on the Teams Series, Bunch rode in just three UTB events in the regular season. He did, however, pick up a Velocity Tour win in Tulsa on Jan. 24.

Ezekiel Mitchell: Mitchell just missed cracking the official World Finals field by finishing No. 42 in the UTB regular season. He rode well down the stretch, grabbing fourth at the UTB event in Nampa on April 18, where he also rode for the Austin Gamblers in the Monster Energy Team Challenge. The next weekend, he notched another Top 10 finish in UTB competition in Tacoma.
