After Round 4, we are starting to get a feel for what the Average Standings and World Standings will look like the rest of the way in Las Vegas. We’re almost halfway there.

Wacey Schalla started the night off by continuing to prove he is an elite bareback rider in addition to his bull riding.

He was 87.25 on Beutler & Son’s No Whiskey’s Redlicious Meats to win the round and he leads the Average as well after cashing in the first four bareback riding rounds of his career.

World No. 1 Rocker Steiner split fourth with World No. 2 Sam Petersen to keep his lead of more than $100,000 in the World Standings.

Steer wrestling was split between two cowboys who are the heat of the Gold Buckle Race. World No. 1 Will Lummus and Projected World Champion and World No. 2 Tucker Allen were both 4 flat on Sunday night.

It was Allen’s second Go-Round win, while Lummus on the other hand, has two no times and two 4.0-second runs so far in Las Vegas.

In team roping, two teams who desperately needed a Go-Round win got one. Two-time reigning World Champions Tyler Wade/Wesley Thorp and Dustin Egusquiza/Levi Lord.

Wade/Thorp had no times on their first three runs and Egusquiza/Lord won their first check.

At the top of the World Standings, Andrew Ward/Jake improved their time by one tenth of a second for the third straight run, turning a 3.9 to power past Driggers/Nogueira. Ward/Long also lead the NFR Average.

Speaking of Average leaders, Stetson Wright rode Calgary’s Freedom Xpress for 88.5 points to get his second Go-Round win in the bronc riding. He’s 352.25 points on four while his brother Ryder, the No. 1 man in the World, is 1.75 points behind him.

Ryder extended his lead on Sunday night with a second place check.

In tie-down roping, Kincade Henry followed up a 7.3-second run on Saturday with a 7.1 to win the Go-Round. He remains third in the World Standings behind Shad Mayfield and Riley Webb.

With a 7.2 for second on Sunday, Mayfield has overtaken Webb in the PRCA World Standings and leads by about $6,000. Mayfield leads the Average as well.

Tricia Aldridge lit up the scoreboard with a 13.42-second run in the barrel racing while Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi and Emily Beisel both cashed to close in on Hailey Kinsel and Kassie Mowry. Neither of the Top 2 cowgirls got a check on Sunday night.

In bull riding, rookie Bryce Jensen got his first NFR qualified ride in style with 87.5 points to win the round. In the World Title race, Ky Hamilton rode and Stetson Wright and Wacey Schalla did not.
