Two of the most popular athletes are among those moving on from Bracket 6 at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.

Rocker Steiner made his season debut in the bareback riding and picked up right where he left off from his 2025 World Championship.

The Weatherford native made rides of 88.5 and 89 points, the latter won him Round 2 and the former placed him second in Round 1 behind Kashton Ford.

Steiner won the 2023 and 2024 FWSSR, but failed to to get out of his bracket in 2025, leaving with only $125.

Five-time NFR qualifier Cole Reiner qualified for the second Semifinal spot while Ford grabbed the Wild Card.

Stetson Wright got his quest for a third FWSSR title off on the right foot by winning both rounds of Bracket 6 in the bronc riding.

He was 88 points in the First Round and then topped that in the Second Round with 90 points on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Toma Jo.

Stetson joined his brother, Rusty as the only saddle bronc riders to win both rounds in their brackets at this year’s rodeo.

Ryder Sanford ($3,400) got the other Semifinal spot while Reed Neely rounded out those advancing with $2,063 to get the Wild Card spot.

Cash Robb emerged victorious in Bracket 6 in the steer wrestling with much thanks to his 3.5-second run to win Round 1. It was the third-fastest time of the rodeo and he made $4,200 total so far.

Hawaii native Trisyn Kalawaia won Round 2 with a 3.9-second run and qualified second with $2,625 while six-time NFR qualifier Stetson Jorgensen got the Wild Card. He is coming off of a career-best with place finish in Fort Worth in 2025.

Riley and Brady Minor joined Dawson and Dillion Graham as the second pair of brothers to qualify at the head of their Brackets in this year’s FWSSR.

The Minor brothers had only one qualified time, but it was more enough as they won the Second Round with a 4.2-second run.

They shared that top spot with new pair and National Western champions Tanner Tomlinson/Coleby Payne, who were 4.4 to win Round 2.

In tie-down roping, Tanner Green won Round 1 with a 7.6-second run and placed second in Round 2 with an 8.5 to bank $4,400 in Bracket 6. Green had the best finish of his career in 2025 as he finished No. 24.

Joel Harris followed Green with $2,625. His 8.1-second run won him Round 2 while Blane Cox got the Wild Card spot.

Paige Jones led Bracket 6 with $4,400 and that included one of the fastest runs of the rodeo, a 16.27 to win Round 2. In second was 2025 NFR Average Champion Julie Plourde with $2,900.

Tristen Hutchings and Qynn Andersen, both 2025 NFR qualifiers, were the only ones to record a qualified rides in Bracket 6 and both of them did so twice.

In his very first ride of the season, Hutchings posted an 88.5-point score on Rafter G Rodeo’s Moostache in the Round 1 and followed that up with an 88-point score on Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Pretty Boy the next round.

Andersen’s 87.5 and 84 point scores in each respective round weren’t enough for the win, but they were good for $6,800.

Hutchings, however, advances with $8,000 and becomes the second-richest athlete at FWSSR so far, behind Stran Smith with $9,725.
