Athletes to Watch in Bracket 2 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo
The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo continues Sunday with the beginning of Bracket 2 from Dickies Arena. The first step toward a $20,000 payday is getting through your bracket.
BAREBACK RIDING
Mason Clements – Clements is No. 7 in the PRCA World Standings and comes to Fort Worth fresh off of a Semifinal appearance in Denver on Saturday.
STEER WRESTLING
Don Payne – At 30 and 31-years-old, Payne has made his first two NFRs in the last two seasons. He has not competed in the PRCA since the Texas Circuit Finals in October.
Eli Lord – Lord was 4.8 on his lone qualified time in Denver and looks to jumpstart his season in Fort Worth. He has six straight Top 40 finishes in the PRCA World Standings.
TEAM ROPING
Kaleb Driggers/Junior Nogueira – A fan-favorite pair with multiple Gold Buckles, these two won Fort Worth in 2022. That same year, they won their most recent World Title.
Erich Rogers/Kollin VonAhn – Both members of this pair have a World Title, but this will be their first time roping together in the PRCA.
SADDLE BRONC RIDING
Cash Wilson – The 23-year-old has finished in the Top 40 in the PRCA World Standings the first three years of his career, including Top 30 each of the last two.
TIE-DOWN ROPING
Shane Hanchey – Hanchey has finished in the Top 10 eight times since 2016. He has a chance to clear $3 million in career earnings this season.
Joel Harris – Harris won two rounds at his first NFR last season and finished No. 7 in the World. He is currently No. 23 in 2025.
BARREL RACING
Sara Winkelman – The reigning Fort Worth Champion dominated by winning both her Semifinal and Final in consecutive days last year. She finished a career-best No. 20 in the final WPRA World Standings.
Paige Jones – Jones made her NFR debut in 2023 and barely missed out in ’24, finishing No. 18.
Wenda Johnson – Johnson has won a Texas Swing rodeo two of the last three seasons one of them being Fort Worth in 2022.
BULL RIDING
Clayton Sellars – Sellars returned to the NFR for the first time since 2021 last season and finished No. 10. He’s 3-for-3 on the 2025 season.
Trey Benton III – The 33-year-old is always a threat for a big score and has been marked 85 points or more four times already in the 2025 season.
