The fourth of eight brackets at the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo comes as part of a Sunday doubleheader and it includes two of the best young standouts of the 2024 National Finals Rodeo.
BAREBACK RIDING
Bradlee Miller – Miller was sensational at his first NFR in December and almost made an improbable Gold Buckle run, moving from No. 11 to No. 3 in the PRCA World Standings over the course of 10 days.
Tanner Aus – The 34-year-old has been to eight NFRs, but had his streak of five in a row snapped in 2024 after finishing No. 16 by less than $1,000. He is currently No. 6 in the World Standings and has won checks on 6-of-7 rides this season.
Brayze Schill – The 20-year-old finished No. 43 in the World a year ago and is coming off of his biggest payday of the season so far, $2,078 for fourth place at the Cinch World’s Toughest in Des Moines.
STEER WRESTLING
Stetson Jorgensen – Jorgensen returned to the NFR for the fifth time in the last six seasons in 2024 and finished No. 7 with a career-high $218,630. In the 2025 season, he is No. 18 in the World despite only going to just one rodeo.
Cash Robb – After winning the NFR Average in his first appearance, the 21-year-old finished No. 3 in the World. Like Jorgensen, this will be his first PRCA rodeo since the NFR.
TEAM ROPING
Brady Tryan/Calgary Smith – The 2023 CPRA Champions have proven they can go fast in tight setups, but their success has not yet translated to the States.
SADDLE BRONC RIDING
Brody Wells – In his NFR debut, Wells won two rounds and ended up finishing No. 10 in the World. He has only gotten on five horses so far in the 2025 season.
Isaac Diaz – Diaz is sitting No. 6 in the World and is looking for his eighth NFR trip and first since 2020. Since then, however, he has finished in the Top 20 three times.
TIE-DOWN ROPING
Kyle Lucas – The 2022 National Western Champion has finished in the Top 30 four consecutive years but has yet to make an NFR.
BARREL RACING
Lisa Lockhart – The veteran of the last 18 NFRs will have prime position at the top of the ground in Bracket 4, Round 1.
BULL RIDING
Stefan Tonita – A 22-year-old standout in PBR Canada, Tonita is 1-for-3 in the PRCA in the 2025 season. He also competed in Odessa, which in addition to competing Sunday in Denver, indicates he may be taking a run at his first NFR.
