The Calgary Stampede’s Pool B concluded Wednesday with a new batch of athletes staking their claim in the events’ Semifinals.

Here’s a look at the top performances.

In bareback riding, Bradlee Miller won two rounds on his way to $16,500 and the top qualifying spot. He was 86 for Fourth in Round 1 and followed that with back-to-back 88-point round wins. Miller’s earnings at Calgary have vaulted him back into the No. 1 spot in the PRCA Bareback Riding World Standings with $143,672.

Roedy Farrel was the second qualifier with $11,083. He won Round 1 with an 87.5 on Macza Pro Rodeo’s Side Show while Jess Pope finished second twice, and despite a 71 in the Third Round,  still qualified with $11,000.

Coleman Shallbetter was 87.5 in each of the first two rounds of the bronc riding, picking up a round win and a second-place finish. He finished Fifth in the Third Round and qualified with $14,000.

Gus Gaillard earned only two checks through three rounds and qualified with $9,000, much of it coming from his Round 2 win with 90 points on Yule Rodeo’s Mary Lou.

Logan Hay and Brody Wells were neck and neck for the final qualifying spot. Wells finished second, fifth, and fifth to earn $8,500, while Hay was third, fourth, and second to earn $8,750 and claim the final qualifying spot.

The World’s Top 2 Bull Riders, Tristen Hutchings and Noah Lee thrilled the crowd for three days straight in a back-and-forth battle that saw them both win over $21,000.

Lee, the World No. 2, won Rounds 1 and 3 and sandwiched between those two wins was a gritty 83.5-point ride for third in Round 2. No. 1 Hutchings, meanwhile, took second in both rounds Lee won and picked up his own Go-Round Win in Round 2.

Ultimately, Lee earned the top qualifying spot with $21,533, just $500 more than Hutchings.

Five-time NFR qualifier Boudreaux Campbell went 2-for-3 and split Round 3 with Lee to advance as well.

On to the timed events, where Ty Erickson cashed two checks and qualified atop Pool B in the steer wrestling with $11,750. The 2019 World Steer Wrestling Champion was 4.0 to win Round 1 and 4.2 to finish second in Round 3. Erickson won Calgary in 2024.

Trisyn Kalawaia made $11,000, which was earned through two fifth-place finishes and a Round 2 win where he was 4.0. In the final spot was Gavin Soileau, who was 4.1 in each of the first two rounds, finishing third and second. He added a sixth-place check in Round 3 and made $10,500.

In tie-down roping, Brushton Minton was the best in Pool B thanks to three straight runs of 8 seconds or faster including a 7.1 to win Round 1. He won $15,291 and John Douch slotted in right behind him with $14,500 of his own, making a clutch 7.4-second run as the last cowboy out in Round 3 to seal his spot in Championship Sunday.

The last spot belonged to veteran Hunter Herrin, who was 7.7 in each of the first two rounds. That left World No. 1 Riley Webb on the outside looking in.

Barrel racers Carlee Otero and Hayle Gibson-Stillwell traded first and second place finishes in the first two rounds. Otero, however, won Round 3 with an event-fastest 16.79, while Gibson-Stillwell finished Fourth.

Otero qualified with $18,416 and Gibson-Stillwell qualified behind her with $15,750.

Gracen Harman started with two fifth-place finishes, but closed with a 16.84 to finish second in Round 3, bringing her event earnings to $9,500 and sending her to the Semifinals.

In breakaway roping, Cheyanne McCartney had a dominant showing of her own by winning the first two rounds and holding the lead all the way up to the last roper of Round 3. Macy Young denied McCartney the sweep with a 2.5-second run which allowed her to finish second in the pool with $10,000. For her part, McCartney made $19,500.

Jordi Edens-Mitchell took the third and final spot with $9,000.
