Lucas Divino moved to No. 2 in the PBR World Standings with his second event win thanks to a trio of qualified rides in Houston, two of them being back-to-back rides marked above 89 points on Sunday in Rounds 2 and 3. The first was 89.75 on and the second was 90.25 on Ricky Vaughn. He was ultimately 0.75 points better than Luciana De Castro.

It was Divino’s second win of the Unleash The Beast, the first coming just two weeks ago with another 3-for-3 performance inside Madison Square Garden.

“I was talking to my friends today. Seven years I’ve been competing here. God helped me seven years to put me in this spot. I don’t have the words to explain this,” he said.

The win earned him $47,148 and 133.5 Unleash The Beast Points. John Crimber remains No. 1.
