The PBR is traveling to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for Stampede Days, the fourth event of the Team Series season.

The hometown Nashville Stampede are on a historic win streak as they enter the weekend in 1st place at 7-1 with a two-win lead over the rest of the league.

Friday night will feature the ninth regular-season matchup for each team, and the last unique batch of matchups for the season.

The MVP race continues to heat up with familiar and unfamiliar faces, and it will continue to heat up in Nashville, as just 97.4 points separate the MVP leader Jose Vitor Leme from ninth-place Eduardo Aparecido.

Furthermore, the second-place team, at 5-3, is only two wins ahead of ninth place at 3-5.

The 2026 Team Series may have its wildest event yet in Music City, starting on Friday night.

Arizona Ridge Riders

Arizona had their best event yet at Freedom Days last weekend, winning all three of their games and improving to second place overall. They got help from up and down their roster as four bull riders made multiple qualified rides to tally up eight for the weekend.

The Ridge Riders have ridden 19-of-40 for 1673.35 aggregate points, both are the second-most in the league behind Nashville.

They also are one of two teams with three riders in the Top 15 of the MVP Standings along with the Stampede.

Eduardo Aparecido has been the most productive so far. He’s ridden 5-of-7 for 435.20 points, good for 9th place.

Elizmar Jeremias and Luciano De Castro have been backing Aparecido up, each putting up four scores so far this season.

They begin their stay in Nashville with one of the weekend’s marquee games against the Stampede before taking on the Cowboys Saturday and the Wildcatters Sunday.

Austin Gamblers

The Gamblers had a bounce-back weekend in Florida that saw them make nine of their 19 qualified rides this season. They won two of three games to improve to 4-4 and sit right in the middle of the league in fifth place.

It was a welcome sight to see two of their most decorated riders get going at Freedom Days. Sage Kimzey and Kaique Pacheco each were 2-for-3 after failing to combine for a qualified ride the weekend prior.

But it was Jose Vitor Leme who stole the show. The two-time MVP was 3-of-3 for 267.6 points, propelling him to first in the MVP Standings. He is 6-for-8 on the year.

They’ll get a golden opportunity to ease into the weekend when they face the 1-7 New York Mavericks Friday night and then they face progressively tougher tests against the Outlaws and the Ridge Riders.

Carolina Cowboys

With a second straight 2-1 weekend, the Cowboys are now 5-3 and will have a chance to push toward the top of the standings should they do so again in Nashville.

Despite Clay Guiton’s struggles since returning from injury, they have still been one of the best teams in the league, which is perhaps even scarier for everyone else.

The biggest impact has come from the Salgado brothers, both acquired this season. Thiago is fifth in the MVP Standings after starting 5-for-8 while big brother Adriano was a perfect 3-for-3 last weekend to improved to 4-for-5 on the season.

Guilherme Valleiras has ridden 3-of-4 and is the only other Cowboy who’s covered multiple bulls so far this season. The other seven Cowboys who’ve made an out this season have ridden a combined 3-for-23.

The Cowboys will try to stave off a Missouri Thunder team hungry for a win after a winless weekend, and without Adriano starting, they’ll need something extra from their supplementary riders to guarantee the win.

After the Thunder, they face the Stampede on Saturday and the Rattlers Sunday, giving them one of the toughest schedules of the weekend.

Florida Freedom

The Freedom went 2-1 at home to get to 5-3 for the year, but did so by covering just five bulls for the weekend.

The Freedom have proven to be one of the deepest teams in the league in the early going with eight different riders having multiple qualified rides. None of them are in the Top 10 in the MVP Standings, but at 4-for-8 for the season, Austin Richardson is right there at No. 11.

Two-time MVP John Crimber has faced some early injury setbacks that have kept him out of two games. He’s covered an underwhelming 2-of-6 so far, but like the Cowboys, that could actually be a positive because they have shown they can win even without Crimber at his best. And they’ll need to do that again this weekend as Crimber is not in the starting lineup for the opener against the Wildcatters.

The Freedom also face the Rattlers and the Outlaws this weekend.

Kansas City Outlaws

The Kansas City Outlaws endured a second straight 1-2 event finish last weekend, but enter Stampede Days with perhaps their best chance yet to turn things around.

Koltin Hevalow, the team’s best rider in 2025, is returning after missing the last five games. Starting alongside him is Rookie No. 1 overall pick Hayden Welsh, who was 2-for-3 in his debut last weekend.

But it’s their closer, Sandro Batista, who’s been the best for them thus far. He’s ridden 5-of-8 for 438.20 aggregate points and is in 7th place in the MVP standings.

They’ll have to face the Texas Rattlers, who are eager for a win after a deflating 0-3 finish last weekend, on Friday. On Saturday, they’ve drawn the Gamblers followed by the Freedom on Sunday. Every team they face this weekend is .500 or better, so if they can take two of three, they’ll prove a lot.

Missouri Thunder

The Thunder finished 0-3 last weekend after not doing so once all of last season. Missouri has the No. 3 and No. 4 riders in the MVP standings, Paulo Eduardo Rossetto and Felipe Furlan, but only two other riders with qualified rides this season. Offseason pickup Julio Cesar Marques has been serviceable, at 3-of-8 bulls ridden, and their only other scorer, Macaulie Leather, is 1-for-4.

Four other riders have registered outs for the Thunder, and are a combined 0-for-13. Eight of those have come from Kade Madsen, who has the most outs this season without a qualified ride.

The Thunder, and Madsen, will look to get on track on Friday against the Cowboys and then things potentially finish a bit easier with the Wildcatters and the Mavericks, the two lowest scoring teams in the league.

Nashville Stampede

Nashville has been far and away the most dominant and consistent team to start the 2026 season.

They’re coming off a 10-ride, undefeated weekend that saw the team extend their franchise record win streak to seven in a row.

They’re the only team to have four riders in the Top 15 and three in the Top 10. Those riders are Alan de Souza, Daniel Feitosa, Riquelmi Silva, and Rogério Venâncio.

All four of those riders have at least four qualified rides and are each riding at least 50 percent. Two of them, Feitosa and Venâncio, were a perfect 3-for-3 last weekend.

Venâncio now sits 2nd in the MVP standings, having ridden 6-for-8 on the year with 531.25 points. He’s just 1.35 points behind MVP leader Jose Vitor Leme and a full ride ahead of anyone else.

Now, the Stampede get the golden opportunity to defend their home turf and extend their win streak to 10.

They’ll get their biggest test yet, though, against a high-scoring Ridge Rider squad sitting in a monumental No. 1 vs No. 2 matchup on Friday and then take on Carolina and Oklahoma to finish their homestand.

New York Mavericks

The Mavericks began last weekend with an electrifying four-ride win over the Texas Rattlers, but went on to score just once in each of their next two games, losing both.

They fell to 1-7 and remain in 10th place at the bottom of the standings, with a two-win deficit to ninth place.

Mauricio Gulla Moreira is the only Maverick with a ride percentage above 50%, besides Dalton Allred, who’s 1-for-1. Gulla Moreira leads the team in 16th place in the MVP standings and has ridden 4-of-7 so far.

The next three best for the Mavericks have ridden a combined 7-of-19, and the other six have ridden a combined 3-of-14.

As a whole, the team has the second-lowest average score per ride at 87.28. It would’ve been the lowest, and the only one below 88.00 points, had the Gamblers not taken a score of 47.65 last weekend, skewing their average score to 85.88.

They face those Gamblers Friday night and will hope to channel the same Game 1 energy they did last weekend against the other team from the Lone Star State. They also face Ridge Riders and the Thunder in Nashville.

Oklahoma Wildcatters

The Oklahoma Wildcatters finished 1-2 last weekend and sit 9th overall with a 3-5 record on the season. But that record is perhaps a bit deceiving, they have the least aggregate points and least qualified rides in the league through eight games this season.

They face an uphill battle again in Nashville as their best rider this year, Kaiden Loud, will be held out of Game 1 after missing the final game of the weekend in Florida.

Eduardo Matos and Kase Hitt will need to be the ones to step up as they have combined for six of the team’s 12 qualified rides this season. Hitt especially has a chance to establish himself as a steadying force as he is 3-for-5 this season and will leadoff the first game against Florida.

In addition to their battle with the Freedom, the Wildcatters also play the Thunder and the Stampede this weekend.

Texas Rattlers

The Rattlers had their worst weekend since the beginning of the 2025 season, finishing 0-3 and scoring just 270.7 at Freedom Days.

They made just one qualified ride in each game and two of those scores belonged to Daniel Keeping, both of which went for 90+ to earn him Day 1 and Day 3 MVP.

However, that was the lone bright spot of the Rattlers’ weekend as they slipped from second to sixth in the standings. The good news, however, is they are still 4-4.

Behind Keeping and perennial MVP candidate Brady Fielder, the Rattlers have just one other cowboy with multiple qualified rides and that is Jean Carlos Teodoro, who is 2-for-5. The other seven Rattlers have ridden a combined 4-of-20.

They’ll be hungry for retribution on Friday night when they take on the Kansas City Outlaws and after that, they match up with the Freedom and the Cowboys, two teams who enter the weekend 5-3.
