PBR Bulls and Beats gave us a taste of Team Series action earlier in July. But now, the Team Series is back for good, with the first homestand beginning Friday night at Wildcatter Days in Oklahoma City.

It’s the first of a grueling schedule that includes three games every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for each team 11 out of the next 13 weekends.

Missouri Thunder (1-1) v. New York Mavericks (0-2)

The headline is that in just his third game in a Thunder uniform, Julio Cesar Marques will go toe-to-toe with his former team, who happen to be the only ones in the league still looking for their first win after Bulls and Beats on July 11 and 12.

Cesar Marques will be taking on Cougar Uber, who is yet to be ridden. Cesar Marques will be second out behind Paulo Eduardo Rossetto tonight.

On the Mavericks’ side, Manoelito de Souza Junior and Jacob Carige will each make their first rides for the Mavericks debut and are featured in the lineup alongside likely 2026 Mavericks’ staples Bob Mitchell, Marco Rizzo, and Mauricio Gulla Moreira.

If the Mavericks are within even 92 points on their last out, Rizzo could easily win the game for them aboard Nobody.

Texas Rattlers (2-0) v. Carolina Cowboys (1-1)

A match up of two of the best teams from 2025, this is star-studded bout, beginning from the jump when two-time MVP runner up Brady Fielder squares off with King Tut to get this game going.

The cowboy who finished third in the MVP race a year ago, Thiago Salgado, will be the one attempting to answer Fielder. He will do so on Purple Rain.

Most importantly for Carolina, though, is the return of PBR Teams World Championship MVP Clay Guiton, who we have not seen at a competitive bull riding since February. He’s slotted fourth in the lineup on Cupcake while Keyshawn Whitehorse, newly acquired from Arizona this season, will serve as the closer.

Aside from Fielder, the Rattlers have many of their franchise mainstays in the lineup Friday in Daniel Keeping, Claudio Montanha Jr., and Braidy Randolph.

Newcomer Jean Carlos Teodoro is also in the Rattlers’ lineup as well.

Kansas City Outlaws (1-1) v. Florida Freedom (1-1)

Despite finishing eighth last season and making limited offseason additions, the Outlaws have potential. They believe in their roster. With Koltin Hevalow coming off a Top 5 MVP season and Cassio Dias healthy, the core of a successful Outlaw squad is there. Furthermore, the Outlaws have never lost a game at Wildcatter Days. In two years, they’ve finished a combined 5-0.

But they’ll have to overcome 2x MVP John Crimber and the Florida Freedom first.

Instead, Crimber will need help this season from Austin Richardson and Alex Cerqueira this season. Richardson found a spark with a 2-for-2 start to the season in Colorado while Cerqueira is coming off of the best UTB season of his career at 33-years-old. Those two will be the first out for Florida on Friday while Crimber will close.

Austin Gamblers (1-1) v. Arizona Ridge Riders (1-1)

Seven of the 10 riders in Friday’s Austin Gamblers v Arizona Ridge Riders matchup scored at least 1,000+ aggregate points last season.

The Gamblers have four of those 1,000+ riders: Sage Kimzey, Jose Vitor Leme, Dalton Kasel, and Dener Barbosa, all four of them are in the lineup tonight and Kaique Pacheco will take them home as the closer.

Strong as the Gamblers may be, the Ridge Riders are also positioned to be very competitive.

Their Top 3 of Luciano De Castro, Eduardo Aparacido, and Everton Natan da Silva all scored more than 1,300 aggregate points last year.

Additionally, Elizmar Jeremias was 87.8 and 90.2 at PBR Bulls and Beats earlier this month in his first appearances as a Ridge Rider after coming over from Florida in the offseason.

With the loss of Keyshawn Whitehorse this offseason, the Ridge Riders will be leaning a bit more on Jeremias as the season progresses. He gets a big test Friday night, though, facing the 19-0 Cherry Chew.

A win for either team could in this match could throw down the gauntlet and place them as one of the teams to beat this year alongside the Rattlers.

Oklahoma Wildcatters (1-1) v. Nashville Stampede (1-1)

Neither of these two teams team has ever finished with a winning record, and both teams obviously want to change. Both organizations are trying to find their identities after spending the offseason re-tooling their rosters and both will have a chance to get to a winning record early on in 2026.

The Stampede need another great season from Alan de Souza, who’ll ride I’ll Make Ya Famous Friday night. But it’s newcomer Riquelmi Silva, the 2024 PBR Brazil Champion, who has the potential to make the biggest swing for this roster. He was 89.45 earlier this month in his first event for the Stampede, and will face XIT Iron Halo against the Wildcatters in Oklahoma.

With Cort McFadden on the IR for the Wildcatters to start the season, it’s Kaiden Loud, who joined this offseason from the Stampede, who can make the biggest immediate impact. Loud had a down year in 2025, covering 4-of-15 bulls in teams, but gets a clean slate with the Wildcatters. He started his Wildcatter career 1-for-2 for 87.75 earlier at Bulls and Beats and will look to ride Cookie to lead his new squad to victory to kick off the home stand.  has the opportunity to score big again in Oklahoma on Cookie, who averages a 43.01 BullScore.
