Freedom Days saw the most scoring and the most qualified rides of any of the first three weekends of PBR Teams action.

The home team Freedom managed a successful homestand, but it was the Ridge Riders and Stampede who stole the show, each finishing undefeated.

The Texas Rattlers, who entered second, had the worst weekend of any team yet this season and plummeted in the standings, much to the delight of others like the Gamblers and Cowboys, who got themselves back on track this weekend.

It was a can’t-miss weekend in Sunrise, Florida; here’s a look at each team’s performance.

Arizona Ridge Riders

The Ridge Riders had their first perfect 3-0 event finish of the season and jumped from sixth to second in the standings at 5-3 in the process. Their 19 qualified rides are tied for the second most in PBR Teams this season as well.

They won each game by a single score, but in each game they were in control of their own destiny, securing the early lead and holding on to win.

Arizona had four riders end the event with two qualified rides, and those four scored all of the Ridge Riders’ 709.60 points.

Luciano De Castro led the team with 179.75 points across three outs and Elizmar Jeremias was right behind him with 179.1. That was a particularly welcomed sight for the Ridge Riders as both of them failed to make the whistle once in Oklahoma the weekend prior.

De Castro and Jeremias were 90.2 and 90.35 in their Game 1 win over the Carolina Cowboys. They’re two of three Ridge Riders to sit in the Top 15 of the MVP standings, but they’re both currently a ride behind top-ranked Ridge Rider Edaurdo Aparecido.

Aparecido is ranked ninth with 435.2 points and has covered 5-of-7 so far this season. He was 2-for-3 in Florida for 174.15 points. Everton Natan da Silva rounded out the productive Ridge Rider squad.

Arizona will enter Nashville next weekend revitalized and confident with a prepared team that has proven to itself that it can fire on all cylinders.

Austin Gamblers

The Gamblers got themselves back on the right path after a disappointing 2-3 start to their season. They won two of three games in Florida, but began their weekend with a tough 263.30-226.65 loss against the Stampede.

Dalton Kasel scored 47.65 on Real Deal, but instead of taking a re-ride that would put Kasel, or another Gambler, on the rideable Whiplash, Head Coach Michael Gaffney made the costly decision to keep the score, citing it was imperative to “put scores on the board.”

However, the Stampede were able to seal the win early because of this as Rogério Venâncio covered Whiplash in his own re-ride for 88.35 points, clinching the Nashville win before Jose Vitor Leme could ride.

Despite the win being out of reach, Leme still scored an incredible 90.55 points on Flapjack. He finished the weekend a perfect 3-for-33 and scored 267.6 total points, enough for Leme to jump from sixth to the leader of the MVP standings.

Leme wasn’t alone, however, as Sage Kimzey and Kaique Pacheco also got back on track, each riding 2-of-3.

After a 178.10-90.60 Game 2 win Saturday against the Missouri Thunder, the Gamblers finished strong with a four-score, 350.45-point performance against Oklahoma, ending their weekend 2-1 with 755.2 points.

Austin sits fifth in the league standings at 4-4, but they have the third-most aggregate points at 1631.65 and will head into Nashville with momentum.

Carolina Cowboys

The Cowboys improved to 5-3 on the season with 1326.6 aggregate points and jumped a spot in the league standings, now fourth.

While Clay Guiton has struggled in his return, still without a qualified ride, the Salgado brothers picked up the slack with another impressive weekend for both of them, riding 5-of-6.

They were the only two to score in a 269.55-178.75 Game 1 loss against Arizona, with Adriano barely outscoring Thiago 89.40 to 89.35.

Thiago Salgado had his streak of four qualified rides snapped in Game 2, but Adriano, Guilherme Valleiras and Keyshawn Whitehorse all made the whistle to help secure a 261.95-175.45 victory. Whitehorse was 88.95 on Hoobastank and finally secured his first ride in Cowboy threads after starting 0/6.

Their final win came against the home-team Freedom in a dominant two-score victory.

Adriano finished his weekend a perfect 3-for-3, improving to 4-for-5 on the season. He sits 17th in the MVP standings. Thiago, on the other hand, is in fifth, just 88.45 points out of first.

Florida Freedom

The Freedom had a satisfactory homestand, winning two of three games, but with just five total qualified rides.

John Crimber had a rough weekend, going 0-for-2 before being held out of the weekend’s final game because of groin and leg injuries.

Luckily, the MVP’s supporting cast has continued to step up, namely Austin Richardson. Little A, an offseason acquisition, notched a qualified ride in each of the Freedom’s wins. Those came in the form of a 268.40-178.05 victory over the Thunder and an 89.00-86.80 win against the New York Mavericks.

Alex Cerqueira, Boudreaux Campbell, and Bruno Carvalho each added qualified rides throughout the weekend, with Campbell and Carvalho getting their first scores of the season.

The Freedom are one of three 5-3 teams in the league.

Kansas City Outlaws

The Outlaws struggled in Florida, winning just one game, and ending the event ranked eighth in the league with a 3-5 record.

The Outlaws went another weekend missing the production of Koltin Hevalow and the Outlaws have just three riders with multiple qualified rides.

On the bright side, one of those riders with two scores emerged this weekend, No. 1 overall draft pick Hayden Welsh. Welsh, a rookie star in the PRCA, rode his very first PBR Premier Series ride Rank Hank for 84.35 points He kept the momentum going with 87.35 on Strawberry, albeit in another loss.

Welsh was bucked off his bull in Game 3, but teammates Sandro Batista, Eric Henrique Domingos, and Natanael Serra Aires all rode in a 266.90-179.00 rivalry game win against the Thunder.

The Outlaws are missing continuity throughout their roster. While Welsh had the potential to supplement that, they’ll still need more from everyone if they want to turn the season around.

Missouri Thunder

The Thunder are one of two teams, along with the No. 1 Stampede, with multiple riders in the Top 10 of the MVP standings. They’re also the only team with two riders in the Top 5: Paulo Eduardo Rossetto and Felipe Furlan, who are third and fourth.

That’s the good news. The bad news is despite that the Thunder are in seventh place with a 3-5 record and had their first winless weekend of the season, something the team didn’t do once last season.

To make matters even worse, they lost each game by one ride, falling to the Freedom 268.40-178.05, the Gamblers 178.10-90.60, and the Outlaws 266.90-179.00.

Nashville Stampede

The Stampede continued to trample the competition and left Florida on a franchise-record seven game win streak. They improved to 7-1 on the season with a full two-game lead over the rest of the league.

After a gritty back-and-forth win against the Gamblers on Night 1, the Stampede rolled over the rest of their competition, winning by a combined five rides in Games 2 and 3. They bested the Rattlers 259.45-89.15 on Saturday and rolled the Mavericks 356.30-89.55.

At 22-for-40 on the season, the Stampede are the only team above a 50% ride percentage thanks to a multitude of riders, but mostly their Top 4, all of whom are ranked in the Top 15 of the MVP Standings and three of those riders are ranked in the Top 10.

Their best rider so far has been Rogério Venâncio, who sitting second behind Jose Vitor Leme. Venâncio has totaled 531.25 points this season, just 1.35 behind Leme.

Venâncio was a perfect 3-for-3 over weekend as was Daniel Feitosa.

Feitosa had the most impressive ride of all 10 Stampede scores last weekend, covering Slick Rick for 89.95 to finish his perfect weekend. It was the first time Slick Rick had ever been ridden in the 30 total outs of his career.

Feitosa currently holds the best ride percentage in the league at 83.33%, having ridden 5-of-6 bulls, that’s good for sixth in the MVP race.

Riquelmi Silva and Alan de Souza each rode 2-of-3 bulls, making the Stampede the first team to ride at least 10 bulls in one weekend. That happened just seven times in 2025.

The Stampede has put themselves in the perfect position as they head into Nashville for their homestand with the potential to extend their win streak to 10.

New York Mavericks

The Mavericks started their weekend with an electric win over the Texas Rattlers, riding four and winning 348.70-91.35 for their first victory of the season.

New York matched their entire ride total from Wildcatter Days in Game 1, thanks to support from the entire squad.

Despite the energetic highs of Game 1, the Mavericks couldn’t sustain their momentum. They lost their final two games of the weekend, riding just one bull in each loss, to finish 1-2 with 525.05 aggregate points.

Mauricio Gulla Moreira led the Mavericks in Florida, going 2-for-3 and racking up 178.25 total points. He sits 16th in the MVP standings with 353.95 aggregate points.

The next top-ranked Maverick is Marco Rizzo in 23rd with 265.5 aggregate points in seven outs.

No other Mavericks have more than two qualified rides, and no other Maverick is ranked in the Top 35.

The Mavericks looked to be turning things around, but that energy lasted just a single night. Regardless, it’s a step up, and something the team can build upon.

Oklahoma Wildcatters

The Oklahoma Wildcatters finished the weekend with a 1-2 record and totaled five qualified rides across their three games.

Their one win came in Game 1 against the Outlaws, 88.60 – 84.35. The Wildcatters’ only score came from Eduardo Matos in a re-ride opportunity versus Tijuana Two-Step, saving the team from a potential shutout.

They went on to lose their final two games by a combined 263.85 points as they fell 261.95-175.45 to Carolin and 350.45-173.10 to Austin.

Matos led the ‘Catters led the Catters with two qualified rides and they also got production from Kase Hitt and Trace Redd.

Kaiden Loud entered Florida No. 2 in the MVP Standings, but only started in Games 1 and 2. He finished the weekend 0-for-1, forgoing a re-ride opportunity in Game 2, and fell to 20th in the standings.

As for the Wildcatters as team, they slipped to ninth overall at 3-5 and have the fewest aggregate points in the league at 1057.35.

Oklahoma fell to 9th overall with a 3-5 record and the smallest aggregate point total of 1057.35.

Texas Rattlers

The Rattlers had their worst weekend since the beginning of the 2025 season. A year ago, they never winless and finished 1-2 just three times, the lowest scoring of those weekends was 432.75 at Cowboy Days. That is 162.05 points more than they managed in Florida this season.

They made three qualified rides total, one in each game.

Bizarrely enough, two of those three rides ended in a pair of event MVP awards for Daniel Keeping, who was 91.35 on Day 1 and 90.20 on Day 3, both times on the same bull, Game Over.

Brady Fielder was the other Rattler to score, doing so by getting the team’s only points, 89.15, in Game 2. Fielder has yet to cover a bull in the opening game of a weekend, and that slow start has come to hurt him. Keeping eclipsed Fielder in the MVP rankings, now 10th, while Fielder fell to 13th.

The first two weekends saw the Rattlers settle into second place, but a disastrous weekend in Florida sent them down to sixth with a 4-4 record.
